Office-Maze
Description: Mainly an advertising picture that David and my Wings3D tutorial on how to make such buildings is available at David's and my website. This example should contrast David's ?Dungeon Dimension2?, I also placed some mirrors. Light rings (see our tutorial on them) are responsible for the light on the ceiling.

Lit well and cleanly. I'll have to check out that tutorial, seems you can make some great architecture. With all of those lights, I can imagine that this would be a nightmare to render. Well done.

You grossly err LitiNico

About 480 lights, 8 mirrors and a max. ray depth of 20 renders as 1600 pixel wide on my old 1.6 GHz stone age computer in 7.5 minutes. Light is less an issue than high frequency matarial is.

Wise words...

From Horo on the subject of lights. I like my complex materials as much as anyone, but if you can resist the temptation to fill up your scenes with high frequency materials, glass and reflective surfaces, there are some very pleasing effects to be achieved as soon as the light count goes over 200 or so, magical things seem to happen. As Horo has demonstrated.
