The Forgotten Halls
Description: Bryce5.5 with DAZ, Dragon, Daemon and Troll models, StoneArch by Morphtastic and a free pedistal also off the DAZ site. Another Panoramic image utilising some tricks I've taught myself over the last few weeks in building more complex looking scenes by the use of cunningly placed mirrors. Essentally everything seen through an arch is a refection of something in the room. Took two hours to build the scene and another two hours to render - which isn't too shabby I think you'll agree compaired with my usual slow approach.

Being priviledged to know a bit more about how such a pano-hall could be constructed (and hopefully there will be more enlightened Brycers soon when the tutorial is availablle) I must say I'm completely smashed by this one. These halls may be forgotten, but they are certainly bewitched. The placement of those mirrors is indeed extremely cunning. It is rather difficult, in my experience, to know where to place something in such a panoramic hall in order that it appears where you think it should. Typically, I would need 2 hours for each one to place and to put up the mirrors correctly seems to come near sorcery.

This picture may or may not appeal to the viewer (it does to me) the artistic work done in Bryce is extraordinary.

The lighting is superb, perhaps a triffle too bight but if it were darker, the observer would miss too much of the rich details. Since everything looks so devilish and bewitched, the colour of the light from the rhomboid windows ought to be a bit more foreboding or sinister. 5/5 underlined and bold.

Oh...my...God...

I'm trying to calm down my emotions but it's so hard you know! You taught yourself very well I can tell. Right now I feel so much inspired by that image, so much convinced of its depth and inner size. There isn't more appropriate render than the Panoramic one you used. Models placing = 5/5. I'm not discussing the textures (you already know I love them). I see just one tiny little thing to ask about - is the lower window (2nd left->right) a window or some kind of crystal, coz if it'sa window how could it show the sky if there's another hall next. Nevertheless incredible.

This image is perfection in itself. In disagreement with Horo, I think the light could be a bit bit brigher. The detail is terrific, and the textures could not be improved upon. x>5.
