Baumreihe (Row of trees)
Description: Experiment with photographs on a 2D face. Two pictures with different lens settings were rescaled and assembled. The alpha could be easily created because just behind the trees was thick, uniform fog. The foreground terrain was made in Bryce, the wolf is a DAZ prop. Slight contrast adjustments in PS6.

Cool assemblin', I mean really. Maybe you shouldn't have told us about the pictures there. At least to me, sometimes the "mistery" of creating-the-scene has to be kept for awhile :)) Please, don't get me wrong. That's my opinion though. I've got to say - I am amazed once again! You deffinately have the Eye for this. The render perspective is right on, light ballanced, acceptable green on the ground. I could use a bit grass right in front, because the foreground is closer than anything else in scene. Thus (according to me) it shoud be more detailed. That doesn't mean my vote is below 5 :) Keep up the good work!

I agree with Richter, except for the keeping the mystery bit... really very well put together and balanced. My only quibble is with the wolf, it looks a bit wooden, but I guess that is down to the pose rather than your lighting.

The most cool remark

"because the foreground is closer than anything else in scene" -- Richter, that's why it's called the foreground in the frst place. However, I got your message and agree. Thanks.
