Good dark scene, could probably do with a bit of orange haze perhaps? Or maybe a wider camera angle to lend it that sense of awsome scale?

A minor flaw: there should be mountains in the background at right as well or Orodruin moved more to the right to cover the missing mountain ranges. Nevertheless, I still stand to what I wrote above.

Thanks for the kudos guys!

This view is facing eastward with Ered Lithui (Ash Mountains) on the left and the Plateau of Gorgoroth on the right. Barad-Dur (The Dark Tower), which is not present, would be directly behind Orodruin. I'm contemplating doing a second image from a different angle showcasing my eventual vision of Barad-Dur with Orodruin in the distance. I just have to figure out how to create the Eye of Sauron, which I think will be the biggest challenge. That image will most likely be done with a wider FOV. This present image was done with an FOV of 90.

I played around with haze settings but I finally decided to leave it out for the first render. I may try it again on the Barad-Dur image I eventually do. ;-)

After rechecking the maps I see you are right. There should be an arm of Ered Lithui stretching across in the distance on the right. My bad. ;-)
