Description: This was for a "Bryce only" challenge...no imported mesh allowed....no 2 d pics, just Bryce native objects..(presets)..It was hard for me to "NOT" use things I created in C4D or other apps.

Interesting. Bryce is capable of doing very sophisticated things without resorting to other programs. It may get a bit awkward at times, but it can be done. Only presets for the materials? Well I did a lot with just presets, but they may also be modified (if that was permitted). Same for trees. While this is a good piece of work, it could still be improved just using what Bryce offers. The main problem might be that the best program is always the one you know best.

Very good composition indeed. Again - all obj-s well placed so the final work of yours could get as real as possible (correct me if this wasn't your goal).Such a nice clouds. What seems to be the problem here (in my opinion) - maybe you should try changing that too blue color on the sky, also you could make the ground texture a bit complex. The one you used to add to the stones is really great. Maybe if you add it to the terrain everything should "level up". Good distance and haze, Mark!

This is so good, I think it would be worth re-rendering with a few more skies to show off the details in the terrains and how they respond to different lighting conditions.

Actually I like the color of the sky. the one problem I see is that the shadows on the distant cliffs blend with the sky color too much, to the point that they almost look like an illusion with no real substance. It might also do a lot to use the same material you used on the 'mounds' for the rest of the ground so that they blend better. The trees are great! The wide FOV setting gives it a very spacious look. With just a little work this one can look really good!
