Reminds me...

Very good representation of a ski slope ^_^
It's the view you get just before you go down some of those very steep hills and try not to kill yourself!

I like the up close pine, very nice I think. I also like the baked look of the snow as if it has been in the sun for a few hours.
Very nice.

Atmosphere is spot on, the light seems a little flat, but that is kinda how it is I guess... we don't see much snow here by the coast... pity, looks good in photos. Distant pines on slopes work very well indeed, would be curious to know what tecnique you used to get that effect - I'm guessing it's the old spikey terrain, but that's always murder on the render time for me - whatever, works a treat!

I particularly like the snow in the foreground which looks very real and the mountains in the background that are very convincing, indeed. Though the pine in the foreground looks elaborate, it is somehow wrong to my eyes. But I cannot tell you, why I have that impression. The lighting may be a bit flat but is quite what we expect to see here with that kind of weather and humidity in the air, which is a contrast killer. This is a good piece of work in any case.

This is really nicely done. I just have a little problem with it though. That tree is really well done but it seems too evenly lit, too much ambiance with no shadows. The snow is nicely textured.

4/5
