I like this particular "replica" image b/c its very different from the rest. Maybe not the most extravagently busy image, but thats not a bad thing:)
Great moddeling on the controller. The wire could use for some extra attention (a bit too big), however. And the angle shown in the original picture is slightly different than that seen here. But great work... nice to see a new contestant.
Good luck in the competition!

Guess I'm showing my age, this looks like a high tech piece of equipment to me. My first experiance of video games was one of the old pong things, where the controllers were built into the console. I bet only myself and Horo perhaps are old enough to remember anything like that? Good work! A memory stimulating entry.

never had one, but one of my friends had one of those....
how did you make the wire bend like that?

To romtin_erfani: Yes I did have trouble with the wire becoming very thick, because I used metaballs and I am not an expert with them. The metaballs really are not that big, but when 2 metaballs are close to each other it makes a bigger metaball. Anyways I'm not an expert with them.
Which leads me to my next answer.
To nextgen: I used metaballs for the wire. I'm not sure if you know about metaballs or not, but if you don't then they're spheres that morph with other metaballs. You can do really cool things with them. And if you want to get better skills with metaballs, try the dragonfly/metaball tutorial.

What's not to like. We all play that particular console at a particular time, Very nice detail. I wouln't change anything about it, welll, may be just add a spot light above it, but that's it, like I said just may be.
Very well done.
