Description: Bryce5.5 with gamma correction in PSP7 and using a distance mask in Corel Photopaint7 to apply zoom blur around the car. GT500 model obtained from www.daz3d.com. Premium render with DOF to simulate use of a zoom lens (nothing to do with the zoom blur mentioned earlier). A seemingly simple image that was very fiddly to set up.

Wow(again)!

All of the blurness makes the picture look more like a photo than a 3D rendering ;)

by the way, I think that metal thing on the left of the front of the car(under the left white stripe) should exist on the right as well. I guess the model had one on it but the lightning was coming from another angle, right?

Excellent

Great work! I hope, Chris is happy with the result, too. After all, it was he, who coaxed you into doing such a thing and I've waited quite some time to see how you handle this, since he told me. It was not easy, I reckon, and the DOF helps. Full marks are due.

Thanks

No, Chris is not entirely happy with the results, but as far as muscle cars are concerned he is something of a perfectionist. There will be more such images forthcomming you may be certain of that!
