Very good moddeling for a beginner. You should be proud, that is, if this was completely modelled in Bryce5. I imagined a great deal of boolean on those pillars...
My only problem with the structure is the cone. The texture has a metallic and perfectly smooth and perfect feel to it. Its great amount of contrast tends to distract the eye from the rest of the image which a problem. I suggest making the cone more square (if that makes sense) to better match the rest of the image and to also change its texture to something more similar to the other parts of the structure.
Other than that good job, and 'practice makes perfect!'

Also, I forgot to add, consider changing the preset sky and ocean. Maybe add some fog... These are just suggestions to make it more interesting:)

Rats...

Ok. Now I feel like a complete idiot. I only saved the picture and not the bryce file, so I cannot change it.

I actually used only one boolean for the pillars. I made a cyllender, then did a boolean with a torus. After that, I just stuck flat cyllenders on the top and bottom of the pillar. I then grouped and copied it.

Pity about loosing the .br5... I guess you won't make that mistake again? Like the way you are thinking with the pillars! I can only echo what Romtin_erfani said about the use of preset skies and water and point you in the direction of www.davidbrinnen.com where you will find a selection of free skies and materials for download and a series of mini-tuts put together by Horo for the express purposes of instructing the beginner in bryce. Everyone has to start somewhere... and you've made a good start! Keep going...
