Stonehenge (at Dusk)
Description: Stonehenge model from DAZ. Not much genuine work on my part, except exhaustive fiddling with the sky. I tried to catch the mood a megalithic priest may have had when watching the moon rise within one of the moon trilithones.

cool sky

Well your exhaustive work with the sky was well worth it. It is very cool looking. The fog is on the ground also looks good to me.

The ground seems a little bit plain of a tecture and seems to have a need for some more plant life.
Also, is it just me, or are the pillers that are close to the cammra on the left and right sides not very smooth at all. The farther pillers look fine but the ones really close up seem blocky.

You're right, Munchy. The pilars are low resolution. The camera is too close. The far megaliths also look good in brighter light, even though they, too, are low res. For the ground texture, the camera is too near as well. I didn't put in plants, because there are none, at least, as far as I remember the real thing.

I like the "atmospherics" very much, but in spite of that, I will still question the nature of the mist around the base of the stones, something just not quite right about it, it's like it has "painted" the lower bit of the stones white/grey. Otherwise that aspect of the pic is fine, the stars particularly and I guess the other "quibbles" have been covered. Good, but I feel there is room for a version 2.
