Sorry FoxBoy, I don't know where you could get a Vue demo. Personally, I stick to one or two progs since there is so much to learn. I do a little bit of TerraGen, though.
This pic is Bryce, no doubt. The landscape looks interesting and the mustard coloured sky and mist are quite allright. Try to use a height sensitive material on the mountains next time.

Thanks! I hoped it turned out right. Just glad to impove. The only thing is I have a bit of trouble getting the moutains to look right. normally I use 'Whole Moutain." But as for the Vue demo, You right I dont need to fustated myself with to many programs. Right now I just stick to what I got. Bryce5, Photoshop 7, and Lightwave 8 [Lreaner's Ed)

Whole Mountain

In the Materials Exchange, you find other materials. The ones in the library are not always the best choice. I seldom use them and if, not without tweaking them. Once you get the hang on the mat editor and DTE, a new world opens to you. The mini tutorial Abstract Parametrics to be found on David Brinnen's and my website gives an introduction to the DTE, even though the tut focuses on something different then landscapes.
