Bryce Canyon Animation
Description: Thought I'd have a go at animation... Find the whole process very frustraiting and confusing, too many dimensions for my poor old brain. Needless to say this was rendered on 5.5 and then cropped mercylessly in PSP7 gif editor thingy to get it down from 8.1mb. Animations do get big quick don't they?

Too Fast

Very good, but too fast. Know what I'm thinking? Such animations, if slower, would supplement tutorials.

Background

I think that its great. Love the mountains good motion tween. the backgrounds seem a little weird. It looks like two peases of slab being cramed together.

Maybe too fast... I don't know, I was trying to compensate for the lack of frames otherwise any slower and it is really jumpy. This is animation, as I'm sure the animation guys will know, is really basic, all I did was drag everthing either out of frame or falatten the terrains. I wouln't know where to start to animate a figure. I'm not sure it would make a great tutorial even slowed down, it shows where everything is but does not in any way represent the process by which the picture was constructed - but your point is an interesting one about which we will have to talk. Cheers!

no

do it again. totally unreal where it could be real. the clouds are too calm. for a canion to form it takes ages, mate, and i can't belive that it takes the same time for a small cloud to get a little bigger.
also, the terrain in the background doesn't change it's form, it is too still. and the bird is another wrong detail.
look at the vegetation, it is the only detail that evolves in the right way. trees and woods apearing and disapearing in an instance is just the way it shoud be. take that example and make the clouds movements more dramatic and let there be a feeling of "fast moving time", otherwise the ideea is lost in a fast-one-hour-made gif animation.
