Deja Vu?

This picture reminds me very much of Halflife 2. I can't quite put my finger on which area of the game, but the lighting and some of the texturing on the walls really rings a bell. Meh, either way, it's a very nice image, the texturing is great, and the lighting is good.

I agree - in fact I'm playing HL2 through again on hard - I think this is most like the sewer sections prior to getting hovercraft boat thingy, where you first meet the manhacks and there's these underground ramps with barnickles above and you throw down tyres and exploding barrels to keep them off your back. There. Just to show how I waste my life when I'm not playing with bryce. How sad. The image I think would benefit from a bit more light - otherwise, really good.

Honestly, guys, I don't know what you're talking about. I got inspired to do this when seeing the front cover of a novel I ordered. So, idea and mats all by yours truly. I wanted it sinister, even less light ( deleted the ghost, because it wasn't good enought). But I do agree that details came out better with more light.

I see where the resemblance comes from now, which David has answered. I've completed the game at least 5 times by now, all on hard. I don't know how many times I will, but probably until it gets boring, which won't be for a while.

I love it. I would every much like to go to a place like this. However it is every possible (I WILL) be well armed before setting foot inside. In the corner by the first light is the a man staning there? Whatever it is it gives a gusebumps feeling. WELL ARMED! OR NO DEAL I give highest marks.
