Golden Orange Peel and Sponge
Description: Playing with the panoramic settings, mirrors and blurry reflection. I'm not really an abstract artist and so I don't know what to say about the image... it's curly. The spiral model was made by Steve Lareau of Hilltopdesign.com in a program called Amorphium - or so he believes. So there you go, you now know as much as I do.

Another one

Another picture in which you can get lost. The more you look at it, the more it sucks on you. It's always difficult in that kind of pics to find where the mirrors were put, there are clues, though. The forms are nice, the colour appealing. I get a friendly impression. I can't give it a five but I think that is a very worthwhile experiment -- pano settings = wanted distortion, something to keep in mind for that sort of works.

Abstracts are hard to live with and rarely soothing to the nerves. Tomorrow you may hate it. I've given Horo a breakdown of how it's been put together, if he can find any merrit in my gibberings he might be persuaded to turn it into English - otherwise keep your eyes peeled for the next mini-tut in which he's done and exellent job of explaining how the *cunning* lighting was arranged for my "light in the mountains" and "mountain lake" scene. That, I hope, will set Killingarmyman's mind to rest.

I'm not a fan of this particular type of abstract work, i'm more in love with the minimalist abstracts, where it's such a clean picture yet so complex at the same time. However this is still a good picture, and well worth experimenting. I can't really give it a rating..this type of abstract I can't rate, it's just....well, weird. But in a good way of course :o)

Nice! Abstracts this chaotic deserve a five just for sheer chaos. No, not soothing, but very... Erm... Uh... Let's leave it at chaotic. Well done! If you could, I'd reccomend spoothing the curls, possibly, if it dosn't hurt your computer?
