Sun Rays
Description:	A personal accomplishment for me. I've tried making everything as good as I can get it, and I feel i've pushed myself quite far with this. Lighting and sky effects were mostly worked on, but the terrains were also worked on aplenty. It's an attempt to make rays from the sun stream through clouds, and personally, I find this as an accomplishment of that exactly, not to mention an improvement in terrain texturing.

Looks really good, I'm not sure about the lens flair, but then again I'm always in two minds about lens flair (mainly because it is so overused in computer games now that it removes the feeling of "being there" - if you know what I mean?) anyway, I can't say because I don't know what it would look like without it. Excellent use of your streaming light effect and the birds are a nice touch.

I love it!

The lens flare is perfect! It might be an overused effect, and they warned us against it in Video Game Design class, but we used it too =) The terrain is great, the lighting works perfectly, It feels so real, great jorb! Oh And wonderful use of the little v shaped birds =)

I see, that you've laboured on this one. It looks finished, your best job in this respect up to now. It was worth it! The pic itself is very appealing and the only thing I complain about (I notoriously do) is the lens flare. But then, you're a fan of it and you do it well.

Lens flares are quite overused nowadays, and I was going to ditch it, but I noticed that the image overall looks much better with it there, mainly because the sun didn't seem bright enough to support the amount of rays there is, yet with the lens flare is provides a strong enough intensity to make it seem real enough. So consider it as a more positive thing in this image, however in some others it's just there for no real reason other than I have an obsession with lens flares :o)

Lens flare is usually used far to much, but this really captures the affect of rays. I don't know how you did the birds, but they fit nicely. Top marks!
