Mountain Lake

Mountain Lake
Description: Back to basics, nothing fancy here just two terrains, a water plane, a sky and a sneeky additional light source. Needless to say, quite a lot of time was spent getting the lighting just so.

It's almost real. No complaints from me, flawless landscape. 5/5
Can't really think of anything to say other than that really.

Beautiful. Yes it looks very real, but less like a photograph but more so like a painting. It must be the mat used. This makes it even more charming. Excellent landscape and very plausible sky with the dark cloud. Low camera position looks very good on this setup. Can't find anything that could better it, so it must be a 5.

Magnificent!

I'm not into landscapes, but you have converted me. This is magnificent, Where's my fishing pole, I swear I saw a fish jump out of the water.

It's creative people like you that inspire me to press-on.

This is so realistic... I have seen a place almost exactly like this in Toquart, B.C. Very real material, exellent water. 10/5.

Woah... thanks!

Everybody happy, I find that hard to believe, go on dig a little deeper find those flaws and expose them for all to see - I feel such fraud with this image, it was one of the fastest images I've had to render in a long time. I will point out that the landscapes are the "big sur" terrains that ship with bryce5 (one as is with just the rez pushed up and the other with subplateaus). Pure lazyness there, most of my efforts went into getting that brown colour to look propperly brown in the sunlight. Sorry Dali54 no fish in this water, I don't have a fish model except for an inappropriate poser angel fish, how about a bee, will you settle for a bee - I'll make it a big un!

Hmm... critique...

the only problem with this image I can see is snow at such low altitudes. An empty critique, but a critique nonetheless. Also, could you upload that material?

:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:OO::O:O

All I have to say is that I completely agree with all the coments from above. Textures, water reflection, sky, colors everything flows.
I personally like the colors, and the textures from the hills that doesn't have snow ( not that the snow is bad or anything I just hate snow, It's too cold.)And the water reflection are my favorite part(then the sky, and than the snow)
Really good snow!.
By the way I'll buy that book if you ever publish it.

Ps. I think you should.
